Dream On

The ‘Dream On’ workshop aspired to instill understanding of the benefits of healthy bedtime practices on the quality of life of pediatric patients at the University of Virginia’s Children’s Hospital. Our volunteers aimed to inspire pediatric patients to become more excited about adopting and maintaining healthy bedtime practices. We provided a variety of arts and crafts activities, ranging from hanging moon-and-star displays to personalized pillow covers. The ‘Head to Bed’ maze encouraged children to think critically about healthy bedtime habits, and our informative coloring books provided a space for children to express their imaginative creativity while reading short stories about bedtime care. Overall, the workshop was a huge success!
